Chennai Storytelling Festival
The Children’s Storytelling Festival 2024 was successfully held at Anna Library on 19th August 2024 . The event was a huge success, attracting a large number of children and parents from the local community.
Objectives:
- To promote the art of storytelling among children
- To encourage children to develop a love for reading and literature
- To provide a platform for children to express their creativity and imagination
Highlights of the Event:
- The event started with Thamizh Thai Vazhthu and commenced with a warm welcome byMs. Sridevi and Ms.Ambujavalli,
- The guests of honours were felicitated and the chief Guests inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
- The program featured an impressive lineup of speakers, each sharing their unique experiences and insights.
- Renowned storytellers enthralled the audience with their engaging stories and performances.
- The festival featured a diverse range of stories, including folktales, puppet, myths, and modern tales.
- Children participated in interactive storytelling sessions, fostering their creativity and imagination.
Students and Teachers of Hindustan International school participated and enhanced their knowledge on ” How Storytelling is a powerful tool to Learning and Teaching”.The Animated Storytelling Workshop successfully empowered participants to craft and animate compelling stories. The interactive format and expert guidance ensured a productive and enjoyable learning experience.
